In Honor of Conor 5k

There are events that should be in your radar and there are very few that can match the In Honor of Conor 5k run this connorSunday.

Already in its fifth year, the run and festival both celebrates Conor Lynch’s life while also focusing on the cause that shortened it.

In 2010 while on a team run, Conor lost his life after being hit by a distracted driver. Even years later, you still see the standing vigil on the corner of Woodman and Addison, just a stones throw away from Notre Dame High School.

I was very aware of the incident and the impact it had on the community with my wife having lived less than a block from the collision.

Jeri Lynch has worked tirelessly since that day not just to honor her son’s memory, but to prevent any other family to ever have to experience the same pain.

The 5k kicks off at 8am with a 1k kids run starting at 930am at Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park.

Whether you choose to run or not, please show up and help support this meaningful event.
