Supporting Beer and Bikes with MacLeod Ale

Election day is family and it’s time to unify.

Over politics? Probably not.

There is one thing I do know.

Beers and bikes go together.

MacLeod Ale has been thriving in the heart of Van Nuys and has been a supporter of cycling since they’ve come onto the scene in 2014.

MacLeod Ale (sorry to cut off the bike rack portion of the photo..)

They host LACBC’s monthly Valley Ambassador meetings, are a block away from the Orange Line Bike Path, have a nice bike rack installed out front and you can even order a bike jersey if you so choose.

Since their opening, they’ve already expanded into the space next door and continue to thrive along a street that mostly supports auto body shops among other industrial goods.

Now, they’re asking back to the community for support to help their business grow.

They are looking to extend their hours, add live music and build out a patio.

You can fill out this simple form to share your opinion or if you’re available, show up to the conditional use permit public hearing at 11 a.m. on December 14th at the Braude Constituent Center (6262 Van Nuys Blvd., Room 1B).

I’m glad they invested in this community and brought life to such an unconventional spot.

Let’s keep the ball rolling and keep strengthening our valley pride.
