Sunday Funday Bowl Ride – LACBC
February 1, 2015 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
LACBC is putting on one of their fun rides in North Hollywood before the Super Bowl.
Here’s the details from their website:
Come enjoy a warm-up ride before the Super Bowl and explore the hidden “bowls” of Burbank! Led by LACBC member Wayne “Ridetime” Howard, we will ride from the North Hollywood Red Line Station up to the Starlight Bowl and, after a few extra miles in the saddle, head over to the Pickwick bowling alley, where you will have the option of participating in a game or two of Sunday Funday Bowling.
We’ll meet at The North Hollywood Red Line Station and bike up a moderate climb up to the Starlight Bowl where we’ll stop to learn about its history. From there we’ll enjoy a nice and relaxed 10-mile descent through Glendale and into Atwater Village where we’ll hop onto the L.A. River Bike Path and end at Pickwick Bowl.
