Weekly Roundup: Bike Month Kicks Off, Night Rides & More

Last week seemed like a little bit of a breather with all the hoopla of Bike Month/Week/Day coming up. Yes, that was until things neared…

Let’s get to the excitement:

Bike Day kicked off at Amoeba Music in Hollywood along with host LACBC. The attendance showed that Bike Month will start off strong.

Numbers continued to grow during the day, even as the quantity of free ice cream decreased

The Real Rydaz showed up in style, as always.

There were also a bevy of night time activities going on.

The Beast of the East Crit took place in Chinatown around the Los Angeles Historic State Park.

Also going on this weekend was a moonlight century from Union Station into the valley and back:

The 6th Street Bridge is coming down soon, so get your last look

I did an article last week about climbing Eldred Street(actually, but about climbing it). My friend send me a photo, showing how much in awe I was in climbing it.
