Last Friday, Mr. CiclaValley had the pleasure of sitting down with Nick Richert and Kat Namey to all things cycling on this week’s episode of “Bike Talk“.
We covered a lot of ground, discussing topics like the state of cycling in the valley, the future of the LA River Path, the San Gabriel Mountains and a score of others.
Another great part about the interview was sitting down across from Steve Messer, someone I’ve never met, but have heard legendary stories about.
Besides his cycling exploits, he’s also president of the Concerned Off Road Bicyclists Association(CORBA), a non-profit that’s involved not just with the bike riding aspect, but with a number of environmental issues as well, including the Rim of the Valley Corridor Study.
I had a lot of fun and would welcome the opportunity to return again, especially since the studio is in the valley. Here’s the link to the audio file.
