Premiere Racing Weekend: Wolfpack Hustle Civic Center Crit & Tracklandia

Is it Cash and Tango? Or is it Tango and Cash?

If you’re feeling as turned around from the weekend with the great cycling action, you’re not alone.

With the Wolfpack Hustle Civic Center Crit 3 and Tracklandia back to back on Saturday and Sunday, you’ll have the chance to see some of the best local racers around, probably doing both races.

The racing starts on the Idea of August as the qualifying laps commence at 4pm for the evening crits kicking off at 7pm. Cyclists get to roll around City Hall on a .7 mile circuit course with a couple of tight u-turns that promises to give everyone trouble.

You’ll be able to take in men’s and women’s track and road fields as they race for one of those coveted podium jerseys.

On Sunday, the valley will be taken over by the She Wolf Attack Team’s Tracklandia bringing a festival-like atmosphere to the Encino Velodrome.

There will be food, bands and even a fun olympics for kids under 13. Oh yes, there will also be racing for women’s, junior’s, women’s, women’s and maybe men’s.

The festivities start at 4PM with the races rolling at 6PM. Even if you don’t know anything about racing, you’ll get sucked in by the atmosphere. There’s also a feeder ride leaving the NoHo station at 4:20. I don’t lie.
