Welcome to my large library of unfortunateness.
I’m not really looking for video content while I’m commuting to work, but I’ll be damned that I capture so much.
In fact, this isn’t even the first time I’ve done a column of bad drivers.
I normally trim video clips of the daily transgressions into a folder right after a ride, but to paraphrase Mitch Hedberg, if I’m lazy enough, then I just have to convince myself the near misses weren’t that bad.
Yeah, I don’t have the highest quality camera, but it’s easy to use.
Here are some of my latest recordings only proving I haven’t solved all the world’s problems yet.
This one makes me shake my head. I don’t know which driver’s move was more egregious:
We all see this happen too often, so why do I bother? Probably to keep your blood boiling:
I went back to add this one looking to see if it was the same driver. Same thing. Driving in the bike lane, but what you don’t see (I need a new Fly6) is that once I passed the driver, she tailgated me in the bike lane the rest of the way:
I cross this intersection almost everyday. It’s poorly designed and cars always turn in front of me without looking. In this case, the driver turned running the red just not caring:
This is kind of the opposite of the last video. Running the light before it changes, not after:
Once again as a reminder, get yourself a camera. Don’t let this stuff slide.
