An incredibly awesome event took place in Paso Robles in the first L’eroica California. If you’re unfamiliar with this ride, you need a bike from before 1987, clothing from the same period and dirt road climbs that reach up to 20%.

I would love to go….to watch. There was a lot of beautiful bikes and kits out there:

As if the racing circuit hasn’t hit full steam yet, the Redlands Classic just seems to grow and grow. I’m glad to report that adopted valley guy Phil Gaimon of Optum Pro Cycling took home the Yellow Jersey even after crashing on the penultimate stage. The women’s race was won by Mara Abbott of LA Sweat, who held the lead despite Coryn Rivera winning the last two stages.

Last night’s crit at #redlandsclassic was straight up buckwild. I snagged a top ten, @hbdevocycling boys rode great all night.
