The West Valley is on point this weekend with a couple of events you should definitely check out.

Saturday is going to be a great day for a spin and CiclaValley is looking forward to the 5th Annual Bike with Bob ride.

The Councilmember’s streak could have been easily been broken after this year’s rainout or the two that got postponed last year.

This is a fun ride you can take your family to enjoying some LAPD assistance as you roll around the West Valley.

Meet up at Warner Center Park is at 9am before heading out for a good ten miles.

And they’re raffling off a bike too.

 

 

Sadly, I can’t think of a ride like this taking place in any other district, but show up and maybe others will take a hint.

On Sunday, there’s a tremendous opportunity to give back helping the grieving family of Sebastian Montero whose ghost bike I placed two weeks ago.

In conjunction with LAPD’s Topanga Division, come get your car washed by cadets and classmates of Sebastian from the Reseda High School ROTC from 8am to noon.

The suggested donation is $10, but you can also find it in your heart to give more.

Come to the Fallbrook Car Wash at 22736 Victory Boulevard this Sunday and be part of a great cause.
