Mr. CiclaValley has been constantly engaged in the debate whether Glendale is part of the valley, constantly defending his claim that the Jewel City IS part of the SFV. Semantics aside, come out this Sunday to roll in the 3rd Annual Jewel City Ride that allows cyclists of all varieties to tour Glendale.
There is a family seven mile ride, a 25 mile fun fitness distance and a 50 miler that will put you in the small ring on a number of climbs.
If you’re unfamiliar cycling through Glendale, then shame on you. Not only is it a pivot point connecting many of our neighborhoods, but there are a number of great rides to discover in the city.
The ride is organized by the Rotary Club of Glendale, with proceeds going to benefit the Glendale YWCA, ARK Family Center and the City of Glendale Police Activity League (PAL).
This event is also connected to the fine people of Walk Bike Glendale, fervent cycling supporters in a city is booming exponentially.
Also, all registrants will also receive free lunch from Rounds Burgers.
Make sure to register. If you haven’t discovered Glendale yet, load your bike up for this Sunday.
